If you don't need X-windows or NFS on this machine you might
consider using the SMEserver distribution instead of RH9.
It is actually a modified RH with it's own web based
management.  Follow the 'downloads' link from
http://www.contribs.org to find the 6.0 iso image.  You
can be up and running with samba/email/webmail in about
half an hour and the less you know about normal Linux administration
the better.
