Cool.  That puts me a little more at ease.  I haven't had a copy of RHEL
to install for comparison, just RH9.

I did a RH9 install on Friday that had the same behavior. The installer
was very sluggish, but installed all of the packages quickly. After
rebooting, everything was very fast.
