[K12OSN] K12 v4.0.0 unstable?

Some people on the list have reported frequent crashes with dual
processor machines.  It seems to be related to a bug in 'mount'
but does not affect everyone. The latest fedora kernels may help
but not completely solve the problem.  Has anyone tried dropping
the whitebox kernel into an otherwise stock 4.0.0 or 4.0.1
system yet?
