[K12OSN] Are you using Open Source Software in K-12?

Huck, this is not a commercial venture. We are federally-funded technical
assistance center at the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory helping
educators integrate technology into the teaching and learning process. We
began the Open Options Project to support educators who were trying to come
to grips with the high costs of keeping technology current. We don't
advocate for open source software, we just provide pragmatic information
based on our survey research. We don't try to duplicate other resources for
technical implementation. Our Web site at http://www.netc.org/openoptions
shows how the research results are used. We appreciate your input. Basha

(as a marketing person) this survey site is seriously lacking in
credibility... Spelling errors abound(as with most e-mails and websites
today) Questions are fairly leading(as if OS and App discussions weren't
going to build bias anyway) And what is actually being done with the
information?? WHO is it mattering to and why? I know it matters to those of
us who must implement the stuff and those who we need to convince to allow
us to implement...but other than that...what gets done with this info?

My district needs six figures in the "How many students in your
district" field. That field will take only five, and "200K" is rejected

by your survey.
