[K12OSN] Mozilla has stopped loading/viewing pdfs

As of a few days ago, Mozilla has just stopped loading pdf for viewing.  If you save the file, it opens correctly, but in Mozilla, the file is downloaded and then Mozilla reports 'stopped' in the lower left as the current action(?).

About Plugins shows nppdf.so enabled.
