Are you running an old monitor on it as well? Is it a serial mouse and
that ancient midi keyboard connector? We've been doing full installs of
Fedora C1 on our older equipment to get the monitors and serial stuff to
work and then using X -query to run them as clients on the K12 network.
Fussing with scan rates and mac addresses got to be too much of a hassle
and not worth the time... but if we can run network installs of DSL on
those old 512 meg harddrives we might really be able to revive the dead!
:) Can you see any reason why you're new machine can't run as a client
on k12?
