[K12OSN] E-mail puzzle

Maybe I'm not understanding, but isn't squirrelmail an IMAP client? If
you setup an IMAP server on your server, then squirrelmail should just
connect to that like any other IMAP client. For security you could do
this on the loopback network, 127.0.0.1.
