Clam anti-virus, SpamAssassin for spam.  How you run them
will depend on your mail transport choice.  If you use
sendmail, use MimeDefang as the wrapper interface for the
content scanning.  Other things are available for different
mailers but I haven't used them.

I don't think you mentioned the number of terminals at
each location.
