Well, that simply lies to the server as to what the browser is.
It's kind of like going up to someone, shaking their hand, and saying you're
someone else.

...Except it's worse, because if the site really DOES require IE, it will
try to do things that only IE can do.  Really, it's less that they have
a website that 'requires IE' and more that they have an IE-based application.

They've really just painted themselves into a corner in DOING that, but I
don't have to preach the choir here. :)
