The only concern I would have would be whether *all* of the hardware in 
those NetVistas plays nicely with the Linux kernel.


For that kind of money, you might consider some of those $200 
LindowsOS/Linspire boxes, which you *know* will be compatible with the 
Linux kernel...'cause they're of course already running GNU/Linux.  You 
might check out http://www.pricewatch.com and look under the Linspire 
section.
