I've been testing FC3t3 on a stand-alone box and with a few exceptions
(significantly, yum wasn't working - that was fixed in yum-2.1.10-1 but now
they are at 2.1.10-3 so who knows?) had good success with it.  If I
understand you correctly, this 4.2.0 alpha is based on FC3-RC1 (i.e. it is
more recent that FC3t3 dated October 5).  If that's correct, I'll reinstall
with your 4.2.0 alpha and see what happens.
