[K12OSN] good basic complier/editor

Have you herd of the Mono Project? It is trying to get
the .net framework on linux. The main compiler is C#
but they have a VB.net compiler too! Also a good IDE
for this is MonoDevelop. This setup is probably the
closest you can get to a MS Visual Studio .NET
environment on Linux.
