Check back in the archives a month or so.. there was a thread titled
"Dansguardian and squid wont play together" which may shed some light on 
your problem...

tail -f the DansGuardian log file
(should be  /$INSTALL_DIR/log/access.log) and see if anything is 
actually going through DansGuardian.
