I use Altiris for my Windoze machines....I also use RID (see my earlier
post) for my Macs....once it's set up....you make an image and if you are
using ARD (Apple Remote Desktop)....you simply select the machines to
deploy and image to and voila!  Off they go!  Using another Open Source
program called ARDCompanion....the machines will automatically name
themselves and so forth.
