[K12OSN] scanner on client

hmmm
Maybe this may work.  Take a regular copy (local processing power) of
Fedora 2, add a scanner to this desktop.  Then allow that local machine to
log into home directories ??? That way folks can scan there material, even
manipulate it on a local machine in the computer lab and save their work
to their LTSP home directories?  thoughts?
