[K12OSN] Booting Problems

Sorry i'm still a rookie, in knoppix i opened a root shell and typed fsck
/dev/hdb1 (the partition that has it all on it.../boot, /home, /root etc.)
and it says; do you want to continue, running e2fsck will cause severe
damage in your filesystems continue Y / N
do i continue?
