[K12OSN] DVD-/+RW

DVD RW drives have come down in price over the last year or so to the point
were I cannot justify not getting one.  Are there are any issues I need to
be aware of?  I see ATAPI / E-IDE drives from Pioneer, Plextor, Sony, and
Samsung (and others) for between $56 and $160.  Will they all pretty much
just work or are there any warnings?  Any recommendations of brands to stay
away from?  Is it worth the extra $ to go with a particular brand?  Thanks.
