[K12OSN] teachertool

I dl'd teachertool and checked it out...
seems really slick...I can view student's processes...and kill 'em or 
log 'em off remotely...

I was unable, however, to force run an application...

I wanted to load a terminal session I presumed  /usr/bin/xterm....
and there was another in  /opt/ltsp/i368/X11R6/bin/xterm  I believe also...
but nothing that I tried would bring up any program...open 
office...nothing...

so was hoping one of you who've used it for this purpose might have some 
insight.
