[K12OSN] V.4.4 install: HELP!(resolved)

Before implementing Eric's solution, I decided to use a crossover
cable to connect a Thin Client (eth0 had to be activated) - the
station booted flawlessly, which meant the VLan was acting up. Hours
later one of the network gurus confirmed that the Gig uplink was not
operating properly, but was able to reset it and now all 90
workstations can log in. Those of you that have worked with Dell4600s
know they are awesome machines... I am still suggesting IceWM and
AbiWord to keep memory loads manageable.

Thanks Eric and all for the help you continuously provide the group
Alan
