[K12OSN] Printing from a thin client: the improved version.

IHMO, I would seriously consider buying JetDirect network adapters for
them and then printing directly to them via IP printing. From my
experience printing to PCL printers is very much more CPU intensive than
printing to postscript printers, but seeing as these are HP 4+ printers
and not 4 M+ you will have to take the extra CPU hit and considerably
slower printing times. IHMO the best "improved version" of printing is
to print direct to a Postscript printer via IP address.

I cannot speak about remote printers - if that would reduce the CPU drag
of the PCL printers ... but in terms of simplicity the JetDirect cards
are the way to go. Maybe that is not quite the advice you were looking
for ....
