[K12OSN] Running NovaNet on clients

Scott,
I had a long discussion with a NovaNet trainer, Alfie Perrin, about this
same topic. She mentioned that NovaNet ran on unix way back when but no
longer. It is a PC thing now...not even sure if they have a Mac
version. I then proceeded to get a straight answer from their Tech
Support and again they said no Linux version.
Wine is a different story. I never tried it that way. When you install
NovaNet it is a two part install. 1) The navigation port itself 2) The
curriculum. You may have a tough time getting the curriculum to install
because it wants QuickTime or Windows Media player to be installed so it
can play its embedded movies.
If you get it to work, please let me know.
