I figured you probably did...  I always specify the
client name in lts.conf but it should not matter.  

I assume you restarted the client?

You could try this simple test:

telnet printer_ip_address 9100

This is a test. <ctrl>M <ctrl>J
<ctrl>L

<ctrl>]
exit 

You will not see what you type but is should eject a
page if the printer is correctly configured...
