I have not had luck finding a non-MS timesdb.ttf.

If someone knows of one that can be redistributed under a GPL/X/BSD/etc
license, I'd love a pointer.

I may also try copying one of the X.org True Type fonts to "timesdb.ttf"
and see how that flies ;-)
