Thanks for the tip: I've turned it off for now & using ssh/980 to the
localhost. Thanks to both of you for the help!

If you are adding that as a local network it also exposes the
samba shares to the internet and probably allows relaying of
email from anywhere to anywhere and some other things that
should be blocked.
