When you go into Open Firmware and do the boot enet: command, you get up
yaboot?

I did have a problem myself (although not with K12LTSP) where Yaboot had
a limit on how much data it would load up which was causing problems.

When I go into OpenFirmware I have to use the command:

boot enet:192.168.0.253

where 192.168.0.253 is the address of my DHCP/TFTP server.

The only other thing I had to change too was the
/opt/ltsp/ppc/etc/lts.conf. I had to alter the server IP address to
192.168.0.253 too.

I'm running Yaboot 1.3.13 which I got from:
http://penguinppc.org/bootloaders/yaboot/

You'll need to download the yaboot-binary-1.3.13.tar.gz file. Untar it
and replace your existing yaboot file with the one in the tar file, or
better still, backup your old yaboot file and then try the yaboot file
in the tar.gz file.

Hope this helps.

BTW, I'm using an iMac G3/400, it's the dark blue one, as far as I know,
it is a DV version although it doesn't have the DVD drive, it is a slot
loading CDROM drive.
