[K12OSN] sound on older distro (3.0.0)

when i jumped on this k12ltsp bandwagon it was just
moving from 2.x to 3.0.0 and i dl'ed both versions,
but stuck with 3.0.0. then i proceeded to install it
EVERYWHERE! i have four classroom labs setup with
plans to add at least two more. PLUS, i have three
more linux boxes serving webpages, email and scanning
the network...

ok, now i NEED to get sound working on all these
thin-clients so teachers can use starfall.com and
brainpop.com. i have dl'ed the ltsp_esound-0.4.x.rpm
from the k12ltsp ftp server and installed it. i have
edited the lts.conf file to add the nasd OR esd sound
daemon (tried both), but didn't have sound on the
clients. i followed the advice on the wiki and edited
the IceWM Sessions file. still no sound.

What do I need to do to enable sound on my clients
using k12ltsp version 3.0.0 (redhat 8.0) and IceWM?
Can anyone point out the steps to make this happen?

Thanks!
