Barry,

There still seems to be a bug in mtools that doesn't allow you to have both usb and the local floppy supported at the same time via running two floppyd sessions. On the ltsp.org wiki site, there is a description of a way to get local devices working with Konqueror support. I have it working with FC2. It is 'beta' though (and doesn't seem to work with gnome/nautilus). It has a few quirks of it own as well.

Sincerely,
Dave Hopkins

    Hi All,

Ive read several posts about how to get pendrives/flashdrives to work on clients.
I've never been able to get any of the "remedies",,to actually work on the thin clients.
Is it possible to get pen drives setup..to be accssed with MTools<ALONG< with the A:/floppy drive.
I thought I had this working at one time,,many moons ago,,,on a test server but havent been able to get pen drives to "recognize"...correctly..
Most of the p2's thin clients we have, do get the usb ports recognized at bootup...BTW.
    I m running both 4.1.1 K12LTSP...& 4.2 K12LTSP..

    Any info is greatly,.appreciated,,,

    Barry
