The school has had trouble with students viewing photos and this seems like the only solution. I have been using Dansguardian with good success, but it still misses stuff. My question is: I have uninstalled all internet options but the Elinks browser. But, for some reason, Konqueror still appears in my main menu, under internet. How do I uninstall Konqueror? I have NO KDE features installed on the k12 server. Thanks for any help. -Will
get a "Shell" account from your internet provider, only access is via unix
(Linux) shell account, is usually much cheaper and it is text only, even
if you try to use a graphics program you will not be able to get it from
the internet provider..
your students will enjoy PINE and LYNX the usual text internet software
for shell accounts, you may have to download PINE from your provider on
the Univ of Washington, it is included with some Linux distros and not
others.
