Perhaps I'm jumping in late on this thread but in 4.2.0 there is a
variable in /etc/sysconfig/K12ltsp called PURGE_PROCESSES. Setting it
to yes causes this script to run in:/etc/X11/gdm/PostSession:
/usr/sbin/purge_user $USER SANE
It only affects uid's over 500 and seems to do a good job of mopping
up after a terminal user logs out.
