Brian,

I'm not totally sure about this as I have not tested it, but you can and
let us know :-) In /usr/share/doc/smbldap-tools-0.8.6/smbldap.conf
there is a section on Unix Account Configuration (see below)

##############################################################################
#
# Unix Accounts Configuration
#
##############################################################################

# Login defs
# Default Login Shell
# Ex: userLoginShell="/bin/bash"
userLoginShell="/bin/bash"

# Home directory
# Ex: userHome="/home/%U"
userHome="/home/%U"

################

I would imagine that you can specify the home dir here. BUT....you'll
probably need to change it and run your user creation in "shifts" or by
year for each new set of home dirs for each year. Give it a test and let
us know if it works.
