[K12OSN] SELinux on a LAMP setup of K12LTSP 4.2

Hey,

Is anybody having any luck with SELinux?  I spent a day trying to 
troubleshoot a really trivial Apache setup problem and found that the 
problem was with SELinux.  Now, I have to turn it off to get mysqld to 
run.  What's up with that? 

Should I:
A)  use it?  If so, can someone recommend some comprehensable 
documentation for getting it to work with LAMP/K12LTSP/etc?

B) Turn it off?  If so, how do I do that permanently?  "setenforce 0" 
only seems to work until I reboot.
