[K12OSN] Etherchannel link

The name of the spec for this is "IEEE 802.3ad Link Aggregation Control 
Protocol."  Cisco's EtherChannel is simply Cisco's implementation of 
IEEE 802.3ad.  The Linux kernel's Channel Bonding is another.

Since you're sold on a Gig-E backbone anyway (and I agree), I did some 
checking tonight, and Amer.com's SS3GR4i switch also is said to support 
IEEE 802.3ad, and it is considerably less money than a Catalyst 3750.  
They'll let you eval one free of charge for 45 days, so it's worth a look.
