[K12OSN] Passing Parameter to kernel :- option option-129 "DPORT=1067";

I'm having this same problem.  I have set the /etc/sysconfig/dhcp to
listen on port 1067, I have created a boot disk at rom-o-matic for
port 1067, and I have made the JAM-recommended changes to the
dhcpd.conf file.

The workstation starts the boot process and gets some distance, but then I get:

Running dhcpcd on port 67
ERROR!  dhcpcd failed!
Kernel panic:  Attempted to kill init!
