Yet another benefit of using backuppc (running on a different PC than
your server).  It has a nice web interface that lets you browse
through the files and view or download them directly as well as
restore them.  So, if a file existed on the server, you would still
be able to view it easily after the crash.  The stuff on a wiki
would be difficult to navigate but not impossible.  It would probably
be a good idea to have the code pre-installed elsewhere so a quick
restore of the current data into an existing directory (perhaps
on the same machine as the one running backuppc) would make it
all work normally again.  Hmmm, I think I'll do that myself soon...
