[K12OSN] 4.2 upgrade, no ETH1

update.. got home, looked at it more, ETH1 is fine, but DHCPD wasn't
running, so naturally the clients can't get an IP, login, etc. when i try
to start it, i get:

dhcpd failed. The error was? Starting dhcpd: /usr/sbin/dhcpd:
error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open
shared object file: Permission denied

i get the same message whether i try to start it from the Services GUI or
using service dhcpd start. searching for every instance (or link) of
libc.so.6 that i can find on the system, they're owned by root. dhcpd is
owned by root and is executable. in thinking of the packages that i
installed (after it was upgraded and WAS all working) was squid,
dansguardian, and gkrellm.

could any of these mangled my dhcpd things?

thx
