I have updated Acroread packages that you can try out. You will find
them at:
ftp://k12linux.mesd.k12.or.us/pub/K12LTSP/testing/RPMS/
The acroreader plugin does not use /usr/bin/acroread. The file you
need to check is /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/nppdf.so
