[K12OSN] Installing Java Anyone?

really a piece of cake get j2re 1.4.2 or 1.5.0 install, then i usually put
the whole folder in /usr/java..depending on your browser you burrow into
the java folder and find libjavaplubin.so which is in a plugins
folder..Make a simlink to the plugin folder of your browser ( iuse
konqueror to do so) you might have a couple choices depending on your
distros gcc ..Should just work after that..chuck
