Well, some interesting suggestions but I was hoping to somehow allow students to access shared drives on the w2k server as well...

Perhaps specifying port 1067 for the K12ltsp DHCP server might work. Any quick tips on changing this? I couldn't find an "option port" option listing anywhere. I did find the -p <port number> parameter, but I believe this is command line only (?). So
how do I modify DHCPd.conf for the -p parameter, or do I do something else? I imagine I will have to modify the firewall as well... any quick suggestions for doing this?

Your assistance is greatfully appreciated!

PS - I'll ask about configuring the DLINK DGE-530T gigabyte card at a later date... seems I have to recompile the kernel... yeesh!
