[K12OSN] problem with PXE booting on Broadcom NICs

I have a lab of Dells with integrated Broadcom (Intel) 10/100/1000 Nics.
When booting in PXE mode they are successfully getting an address, however the kernel isn't able to identify the NIC. Did anyone else have that type of problem and how is it resolved?
