This is mostly just a "me too" having problems getting sound to
cooperate with 4.4 pre 2. I can't even get sound to work right on the
server. Everything seems like it should be working, but I don't get any
actual sound. Worked fine in 4.2. Going to go back to that later to make
sure it's not some hardware thing that I don't realize I introduced...
I'll let you know if I make any progress.
