I had the same result with apt, which I prefer (seems faster).

I then ran yum update which worked fine. During the yum update I saw mention of apt scroll by.

Next time I ran apt it had a new sources list that included mirror.centos.org but not the k12linux.mesd.k12.or.us

So I'm using yum for the time being.

Do you want the yum .repo files?
