Thanks for the lead on the hplip package.
I am running this printer on a thin client
I'll try and install the hplip package,on the server ,then try and do a
"local apps" on this client.
I havent delved into running local apps,as Ive heard quite a few horror
stories,on this subject,but have wanted to give it a  shot,anyway.
I've had such good/troublefree >luck<, running everything on the
server..
