I think I have this figured out. I found a purple iMac at work today and
tried booting it up. The "N" key trick didn't work & I had to append
",yaboot" to get it to boot.

After doing a packet dump, I see that this particular iMac is using
BOOTP rather than DHCP to boot. Since it is not using DHCP, we don't see
the vendor tag and as such it tries to boot off the default i386 kernel
(which doesn't work too well ;-).

If you append ",yaboot", that tells it ignore the DHCP's suggested file
and tftp "yaboot" instead, which does work.

Option 211 has "AppleMacNC", so we should be able to key off of that in
dhcpd.conf to load the right kernel by default. I'll work on it...
