Do any of these users have the same username as any of the users you added
using smbldap?  If so....that's going to be a problem...if you want to use
the same names...delete them as regular system users (using the
GUI....redhat users...or CLI tools)....and then create them new as smbldap
users....make sure to delete the home dir too, before adding them back.
