[K12OSN] SCREEN_02 = rdesktop <url> -- should it work?

I tried setting lts.conf with something like the
following:

SCREEN_02 = remote.server.com

After the "hit <enter> to log in" screen, I get a
message  something like "could not resolve
remote.server.com".  If I replace the url with the IP
address, it works fine.  Am I doing something wrong,
or is this just the way it works?

To be clear, remote.server.com is not on the LAN, but
is accessed via the internet.
