[K12OSN] OpenOffice vs. Microsoft Office

OpenOffice has most of the "bells and whistles" that
MS Office has. I made the switch at my school 2 years
ago and the students can make excellent "powerpoint"
presentations without powerpoint! In fact at the end
of the year graduation ceremony the students are in
charge of creating a presentation - they use
OpenOffice. What I love about it is that it's freely
available to anyone for Windows, Mac and Linux. AND
it truly is quite a powerful office application.
