In the FC3 2.6.11-1.14 kernels at least, the max memory for a
uni-processor kernel is 4G and a multi-processor is 64G

This command will tell you if the kernel you are running
supports 4G or 64G:

 	grep ^CONFIG_HIGHMEM /boot/config-`uname -r`

-Eric
