Try cat-ing it to authorized_keys, that is, leave off the 2.  I don't think it's 
necessary any more.  Another thing to check, as others have aluded to, is the 
permissions of authorized_keys, your /home/bimal/.ssh directory, and the /home/bimal 
directory; if any of these have the write permission for Other set, ssh will prompt for 
a password.
