Hello,

So, what's the procedure for working through dependency issues in yum?

[root at private root]# yum update
Gathering header information file(s) from server(s)
Server: Fedora Core 2 - i386 - Base
Server: Dag RPM Repository for Fedora Core
Server: K12LTSP
Server: Fedora Core 2 - i386 - Released Updates
Finding updated packages
Downloading needed headers
Resolving dependencies
......Unable to satisfy dependencies
Package bluefish needs shared-mime-info >= 0.15, this is not available.
Package scribus-devel needs scribus = 0:1.2-0.fdr.1.2, this is not
available.
Package apt-python needs apt = 0:0.5.15cnc6-0.fdr.11.2.k12ltsp, this is
not available.
[root at private root]#

I'm flummuxed. Should I just yum remove bluefish/scribus/apt-python?
Do I need those for anything? Is there a way to exclude those packages
from the update so I can proceed in some fashion?

Thanks.

ck
