OK, something is wrong here.  You should see your list
of NFS exports.  The clients aren't going to see them
if the server can't see itself.  Try a:
'service portmap restart'
'service nfs restart' 
and then see if showmount works.  If not, you might have
an error logged in /var/log/messages.
